- Outstanding Communication
We provide consistency and continuity in all aspects of care.
We pride ourselves on providing top-quality communication with our residents and their families. Our knowledge allows us to assist seniors with the challenges of navigating a complex health system, and we offer support, comfort and direction during confusing and difficult times.
We offer a high staff ratio, which allows staff to have ample time to not only meet the physical needs of our residents but also to focus on social and emotional needs, which Coastal Care Homes believe is equally as important.
Coastal Care Homes is a complete care option. It is a cost effective choice for those who need to find care for a family member or friend. Indeed, many Oregon Coast seniors who are currently in Assisted Living, Home Care, Nursing Home, another Residential Care Home, or any other private senior care setting and who are not completely satisfied should consider transferring to Coastal Care Homes as a choice to maximize their quality of life. Coastal Care Homes offers a 24 hour care setting. Seniors are allowed and encouraged to maintain control over most aspects of their lives. Coastal Care Homes offers a medium sized care option that provides the benefits of a larger institution (such as an interactive community) while providing individual, personal and flexible service tailored to the resident's needs.
The Oregon Department of Human Services can review and provide exceptions for all three levels of homes on a case-by-case basis. For example, if a resident who is contentedly living in a Level II home develops health issues that make them more dependent, the state may provide an exception so that person won't need to go through the stress of moving, if the provider is able to meet that resident's new needs.
Homes are investigated by the Oregon Department of Human Services or the local Area Agency on Aging on an annual basis or as needed if a complaint or concern is filed.
